We are currently doing community projects for Mutoko communities.

Tendai Trust identifies community leaders demonstrating a passion to serve the poorest of the poor. We support those leaders in developing the community members, and we begin a long-term partnership of serving the local community and working to increase their ability to provide effective, holistic care to the vulnerable: physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual. We are currently doing community projects for Mutoko communities.

Tendai Trust is a registered non-profit organization whose purpose is to help a variety of populations in Zimbabwe.  Zimbabwe is a country in Southern Africa and has a population of about 16 million. At its prime, HIV/AIDS ravished our people including many families where both parents succumbed to the disease. As a result, many children were instantly orphaned.

opportunity to change communites

Somewhere around 2016 Tendai Trust, had an opportunity to do some life-changing community projects in Mutoko.  Tendai  Trust  fulfilled what it laid down in its road map. A visit at Chikara Primary and Secondary and  Nyamuzizi Primary School in Zimbabwe was made. Tendai Trust in 2016 managed to pay school fees for the underprivileged children through our scheme, which identifies children from the underprivileged families. By 2019, the organization had visited the same community, this time a visit at Nyamuzizi Clinic the only local clinic, We then made several donations of medical supplies to the medical officials. We also made a shocking discovery that local schools do not have textbooks  that is when  we decided was to set up a community library  a resource centre for the local students. The Trust successfully procured several computers for the community library. This would go long way in promoting the government’s initiative of e-learning in schools. The library will not only benefit students but the entire community as a whole.

In the year 2021 a groundbreaking event was successfully held at Mutoko Prison where community members came to witness the distribution of Christmas gifts to the inmates. The event was a huge success as both female and male inmates were included. Charles Charamba and his wife, popular gospel musicians graced the occasion with praise songs and hymns.
